Home Screen Widgets give you quick access to your chosen Protocols, Subjects, Tasks, Reports, Saved Searches, and SAEs. Once set up, you'll find them on the Home Screen by clicking the OnCore logo at the top left. You can change them at any time.
Set up your widgets
- Click the OnCore logo at the top left to go to your home screen.
- Click the gear icon at the upper right, under your name, to open the Home Screen Configuration page.
- Under Add item, choose the categories you want to appear. Protocols and Subjects are a good start. Click Save.
- Your items appear in Column 1 or Column 2. Select an item and use the green arrows to move it between columns and reorder it, then Save again.
- Click the OnCore logo again to see your widget boxes on the home screen.
Why are my widgets empty?
The Protocols, Subjects, and SAEs widgets each have a small gear icon that must be clicked before the widget shows data. Click the gear on the widget, and on the Watch tab choose Yes to show your bookmarked protocols and subjects. The Fields tab customizes what each widget displays; the Bookmarks tab lists and edits what you've bookmarked.

Bookmark protocols and subjects
Once your widgets are set to display bookmarked items, bookmark the specific protocols or subjects you want to see.
Bookmark a protocol
- Go to Menu > Protocols > PC Console.
- Use Select Protocol to find your study.
- Click the star at the top left of the PC Console. It turns yellow when bookmarked, and the protocol appears in your Protocols widget.
Bookmark a subject
- Open your subject in the Subject Console.
- Click the star at the top left. It turns yellow when bookmarked, and the subject appears in your Subjects widget.
Remove a bookmark
Either navigate to the protocol or subject and click the yellow star again to clear it, or open the widget's gear icon, go to the Bookmarks tab, delete items from the list, and click Save. Once removed, the item no longer appears in your widgets.
