Who we are
Research computing, data and informatics for Stony Brook
Research Computing & Informatics (RCI) is part of the Stony Brook Division of Information Technology (DoIT). We were organized in 2019 to meet research needs across campus, and our team of about 25 IT professionals comes from both the Medicine and University divisions.
We help researchers find data, capture and store it safely, compute at scale and share results the right way, from the first grant idea to the final publication.
