Choose Research Computing, then Clinical Research Share Drive. Request a New Research Share Drive.

Complete the form to have a research share folder created for your study. The main folder will be named for the study Principal Investigator, and a subfolder created for your study. In your ticket, request access for each study team member registered on your IRB approval who will need this data (including yourself, as applicable).

Notes of Caution

Researchers must keep data within the allocated study share or shares created for the specific IRB approved study or purpose.

Example Use Case

A computer science professor teams up with radiologists at SBM to develop algorithms to potentially assist in obtaining a patient’s diagnosis using both X-rays and CT.  To train the model, they needs pairs of de-identified images and corresponding diagnosis from radiology report.  With proper IRB approval, we allocate storage space in the clinical research share for the data to be stored and used by the study team only.
