In order to provide a more robust and higher-performing storage platform, we will be performing maintenance on the NVwulf cluster starting at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 28th, and concluding by the end of business on the same day.
During this maintenance window, all login nodes, compute nodes, and queues on NVwulf will be offline. We thank you for your patience while these necessary tasks are completed.
In order to allow the university to perform electrical work on the campus data center, the 28-core, Tesla k80 gpu, Tesla p100, and Tesla v100 queues and login nodes login1 and login2 will be going offline for scheduled maintenance at 4pm on Monday, July 13th. The maintenance is expected to conclude by lunch time on Tuesday, July 14th.
The 40-core, 96-core, a100 gpu queues will NOT be impacted by this maintenance. Similarly, the Milan1 and Milan2 login nodes will continue to be available.

The scratch policy on SeaWulf has been updated. The length of time that files are allowed to persist in scratch has been increased from 30 to 45 days.
On April 7th, 2026 from 3:30 - 4:30 pm we will host a webinar featuring the Open OnDemand portal for accessing SeaWulf and NVwulf in a web browser. The webinar will provide an overview of the apps available to researchers, with a particular emphasis on the Alphafold protein structure prediction and llama.cpp LLM chat apps available on NVwulf.

In order to apply necessary security updates, SeaWulf's Open OnDemand portal will be taken offline for maintenance on Tuesday, February 17th starting at 1 pm. During this maintenance, users will not be able to log into the Open OnDemand portal or use any of the apps. Maintenance is expected to conclude by the end of business on the same day.
This maintenance will not affect other SeaWulf nodes or prevent job submission outside of the OnDemand interface. During the maintenance window, NVwulf's Open OnDemand portal will be unaffected and available for use.

Two new queues have been added to NVwulf:
debug-h200x4
debug-b40x4
These "debug" queues have higher priority but lower resource limits (max of 1 GPU, 2 CPU cores, and 1 hour walltime) than other NVwulf queues. They are designed to quickly facilitate short test runs and interactive code troubleshooting prior to submission of larger jobs.
