About the service
Clinical research data requests are fulfilled through Health System Reporting via a Data Request Form. This is a request-based service, not self-service.
Request types
- Exploratory — summary data only; may not require an approved protocol
- Hypothesis-driven research — requires IRB approval
- Prospective trials — requires IRB approval
Example use case
A research team studying hypertension in adolescents (ages 11–18) from 2021–2022 obtained de-identified patient data on lab results and referrals with proper IRB authorization.
