David Carlson

Joined the IACS team in May 2022 after completing his Ph.D. in Stony Brook University's Ecology and Evolution program, where he researched plant genome evolution dynamics; he also holds an M.S. and B.S. in Biology from San Diego State University. His work centers on using high performance computing, bioinformatics, and genomics data to better understand the biological world — providing technical training, computational support, and scientific collaboration to advance research at Stony Brook.
