Important: Scratch is purged on file age and project space is NOT backed up — anything irreplaceable needs a second copy (see backing up with rclone).
Project space requests
Research groups may request dedicated project spaces. PIs should submit requests including:
- Desired storage amount
- Data description and usage patterns
- Expected duration of need
- Acknowledgment that backups are the group's responsibility
Requests typically support up to 10 TB; larger allocations require detailed justification.
Monitoring usage
Use the myquota tool to check storage and file-count quotas across your directories.
